September flew by, and now we are into October. I finally was able to start working with my S.W.A.T. teams. S.W.A.T. stands for Students Working to Advance Technology. The S.W.A.T. team records announcements, does PSA's, and helps a classroom teacher with technology. I started this concept two years ago and it has really caught on. We now have teams in every building. To do this we meet twice a week. The first meeting is to go over what announcements we need for that week, review and critique the previous week's show and task assignments. From there the students use their iPad and apps to complete the preproduction work on their own. They will use Pages to write the script, Keynote to create title slides, and the iPad camera if they need any pictures or short videos prior to our recording.
